I have chosen to (poorly)read the Wikipedia synopsis of Dragons of Autumn Twilight, the first book in the Dragonlance Chronicles trilogy (and the very first Dragonlance novel). The Legends Trilogy continues the story after the Chronicles but focuses on the two brothers, Caramon and Raistlin Majere, and Raistlin’s ambitions for power. It’s been years since the last Dragonlance written by the masters was released, but they didn’t miss a beat. The Dragonlance Saga began with the Chronicles Trilogy telling the story of companions that were drawn into an epic adventure and war after the return of evil armies and dragons. Dragons of Deceit is the first of the new trilogy, Dragonlance Destinies. Just as a note I started with the series when only two of these had been published. The following is the suggested reading order of the key trilogies that started the Dragonlance Saga: I have been looking into how many of the DragonLance books I have read. With the release of new Dragonlance book Dragons of Deceit yesterday August 2nd, there may be new readers or longtime fans of the Dragonlance book series who want to hop back into the books that started it all. ![]()
